Job Summary
Groww is looking for Software Development Engineers (SDE 1 & SDE 2) to join their dynamic App Team in Bangalore. The ideal candidates should have strong coding fundamentals, hands-on experience with scalable applications, and a problem-solving mindset. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to improve product performance, reliability, and user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain high-performance application features.
- Work collaboratively with designers, product managers, and backend teams.
- Optimize existing modules for speed, scalability, and reliability.
- Ensure code quality through reviews, testing, and best engineering practices.
- Debug and resolve production issues with quick turnaround.
- Contribute to improving the overall architecture and performance of the app.
Required Skills & Attributes
- Strong proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Kotlin, Swift, or similar).
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and OOP concepts.
- Experience with mobile application development (Android/iOS) or full-stack development.
- Familiarity with app performance tuning and debugging tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Education & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–5 years of experience in software development (depending on SDE 1 or SDE 2 role).
- Prior experience in consumer-facing tech or fintech products is a plus.
