At Snapdeal, you’ll build and maintain the backend that powers millions of users and thousands of transactions every minute. Your day-to-day work will include:

• Designing and building scalable microservices and backend APIs using Java & Spring Boot
• Architecting high-availability systems for e-commerce workflows
• Implementing unit, integration & performance tests
• Monitoring and debugging production systems with tools like Grafana, Loki & Pinpoint
• Optimizing performance, scalability & availability continuously
• Working closely with DevOps for CI/CD & containerized deployment

This role is not limited to writing code—you’ll actively shape system reliability, scalability, and user experience.

🧠 Skills You’ll Need to Succeed

To be a strong fit for the role, Snapdeal expects:

• Mastery of Object-Oriented Programming, data structures & algorithms
• Hands-on experience in Spring Boot, REST API design, JPA/Hibernate
• Familiarity with MySQL + NoSQL databases
• Strong understanding of multithreading & concurrency
• Monitoring & tracing experience using tools like:
  • Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, Pinpoint
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, microservices
• Messaging & streaming tools like Kafka / RabbitMQ / ActiveMQ
• CI/CD tools + Git, Maven/Gradle
• Exposure to AWS or GCP cloud
